Yellow Window participated in specific research lines and utilised the Open Studio approach (as developed in the RESISTIRÉ project) to explore research findings with policymakers, civil society, researchers and other experts in a participatory way, as well as to develop ideas for possible solutions.

(Better) Stories from the Pandemic
A multi-faceted approach

ACCTING engaged in research along eight distinct ‘research lines’, which covered a variety of topics such as disaster management, land use and biodiversity, energy communities and energy poverty, energy efficiency in SMEs, food security and food values, and sustainable travel and transport choices. All research lines maintained a focus on the various inequalities and vulnerabilities that might influence outcomes in these varied domains.
ACCTING combined different forms of evidence to understand these inequalities and identify opportunities for more inclusive policy responses and societal initiatives.
On-line participation
leading to in-person activism
Participants are a mix of team members of the project and invited participants. Internal participants bring in the insights from the project activities, external participants bring in their expertise and creativity. The target is to have eight external participants in each Open Studio. They are identified because of their involvement with the theme of the Open Studio and can come from civil society organisations, can be policy-makers, researchers, user-experts or more creative profiles like artists.
